If you don't want Wal*Mart to take over your small town, then DON'T SHOP THERE !!
I'm not sure why this is so difficult to do, or why this should be an original idea, but come on!

The other day, I was listening to NPR in my car, (NPR stands for National Public Radio, and if you have never listened to it, find the radio station in your area that carries it (go to NPR.org), and listen!) and the discussion was about the economic consequences of Wal*Mart opening up super centers in small towns. The data shows that in fact the economic consequences are not good, and indeed lead to lower standards of living. And the people of these small towns very often are against Wal*Mart moving in because they know that it will put their neighbors out of business among other things.

So when Wal*Mart gets their way (as they typically do),
why is it that people don't understand that they can STILL WIN !

I mean, it's really simple right?
Or am I missing something.

DON'T GO THERE AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY !!
IF THEY DON'T GET YOUR MONEY, THEY WILL GO AWAY -
UNDERSTAND !!
