OK.... so I got to wondering, thinking about people that just don't seem tohave the least clue about spiritual matters... you know, all the classical ponderings..... and I am curious as to why some of us act so detached from our spiritual essence?   How is it that we have become so separated from that which we were just moments ago (before birth).... how some of us are so completely unaware or worse, unconcerned, or worse still, apathetic.   To put it another way, are people really being true to the true nature of their essence, and if so does that mean that the spiritual essence of those among us that commit hideous acts is essentially hideous?   At least hideous to my sensibilities... and do I have any more right to decide what is hideous than anyone else, including those committing the hideous things, who see no problem?   I just find it hard to believe that any of us had this way of thinking before we came here.   I mean, I don't think that the spirit from which Hitler came from actually harbored the hatred that he had as a man.   So what happens to such men, that they have deviated so far from the wisdom and insight of their former form?   I still hold to the idea that ALL experiences are justified and meant to have expression, Im just wondering about the myriad ways that each of us seem to end up expressing ourselves in this life, and just how unlike our true spiritual nature it might actually be, ya know what I mean?   I can imagine that when we return to where we came from, we will look back and think, "shit, that's not like me at all - why did I have so much fear - why didn't I see things more clearly?"    Even though we understand that all experiences are valid and no one experience is better or worse than the other, I bet we still critique how we dealt with human life, much the same way I might critique a game of chess just played.

And so I come to the thought that was actually the impetus to all the spontaneity that you just had to wade through above, and that thought was; I was thinking about how I have dreams in which I act or do things that are completely out of character for me, I'm sure you know what I mean.   Sometimes its me being greater than I am typically, but unfortunately more often its me being caught up in some situation filled with fear, and perhaps uncharacteristic actions.   So, you can probably already see the writing on the wall for the analogy that ensued; that when we leave the human experience and return to our former selves, its like waking up from a dream.... and we wonder and are perhaps astonished at the experience that we just had.
